ADG (Horticulture Science) visited ICAR-DOGR

 

Dr. T. Jankiram, Assistant Director General (Horticulture Science), Indian Council of Agricultural Research visited ICAR-DOGR on 4 February, 2017 and monitored the activities at research farm, laboratories and Exhibition cum Communication Centre of the Directorate. A meeting of ADG with ICAR-DOGR staff was conducted on this occasion. Dr. Vijay Mahajan, Director (Acting) welcomed ADG and highlighted achievements of the Directorate. Honourable ADG launched the Mobile App for onion and garlic farmers developed by Dr. Vijay Mahajan, Dr. Kalyani Gorrepati and Dr. S. S. Gadge of the Directorate. ADG interacted with scientists and other staff of ICAR-DOGR. He expressed pleasure about cordial environment, well planned experiments and clean campus. He appreciated the work and achievements of the Directorate and gave valuable suggestions for further improvement. He advised to bringing up success stories of the technologies developed by the Directorate. Dr. Jankiram assured full support of ICAR to the Directorate in positive development and encouraged young scientists for carrying out fruitful research work. A meeting ended with vote of thanks given by Dr. S. S. Gadge.
