The farmers were shared their experience on Swatchhta initiatives made by DOGR and selected farmers were facilitated on this occasion. |

Plantation of trees was done with August hands of Hon’ble Chairman, QRT of ICAR-DOGR.Cleaning drive and awareness of waste recycling including agricultural and horticulture waste was elaborated at ICAR-DOGR Kalus Farm. Use of renewable energy for water lifting was also highlighted by honorable QRT members visited the Kalus Farm. . |

Swachhta Pakhwada: The Swachhta Pakhwada banner was displayed and the importance of Swachhata Mission was briefed. The Nodal Officer gave a briefing on the daily actions scheduled from December 16 to December 31, 2022, for the smooth rollout of Pakhwada. All of the ICAR-DOGR, Pune staffs, including temporary workers and outside visitors attended the event when the pledge was taken and Director, ICAR-DOGR planted a tree sapling at institute premises on this particular occasion. |

ICAR-DOGR Action Plan Special Campaign 2.0
As per instructions of ICAR regarding Special Campaign 2.0 for disposal of Pending Matters from 2nd October to 31st October 2022, the following activities are to be performed by ICAR-DOGR during this programme:
- Cleanliness activities at outside the ICAR-DOGR campus on 7, 14 & 21 Oct, 2022.
- Cleanliness activities at ICAR-DOGR campus on daily basis from 3rd Oct to 31st Oct 2022 (16.30-17.30) except outside the ICAR-DOGR campus Swachhta activities.
- Cleanliness activities at Primary School and Panchayat Office of Chandoli village to create awareness in the students and village persons on 7 Oct, 2022 (9.30 to 13.00).
- Cleanliness activities will be performed in villages selected under Mera Gaon and Mera Gaurav on 12 & 26 Oct, 2022 by I and II group, respectively.
- Cleanliness activities will be performed in Shiroli village on 14 Oct, 2022 by I Group and 21 Oct, 2022 by II group.

Outdoor Campaign on 7th Oct, 2022
On 7th Oct, 2022 as per instructions of ICAR regarding Special Campaign 2.0, a cleanliness drive was organized at Primary School and Panchayat Office of Chandoli village at 9.30 hr. The campus and surroundings of both the offices were cleaned by the DOGR staff along with the school students. Dr. Vijay Mahajan, Director (Acting), ICAR-DOGR explained the importance of cleanliness in our life to the students of the school.

The lawn area in front of office main building was also cleaned. Most of the institute staff participated in the activity with joy and enthusiasm.
