Achievements of ICAR-DOGR
The program was launched at ICAR-DOGR on 15.09.2024 in the presence of the Director, ICAR-DOGR, Pune. All the scientific, administrative, and support staff took the pledge. The banner was displayed at prominent places in the institute.
On 16.09.2024, a cleanliness drive was conducted in the lawn of the office from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. All staff members participated actively, contributing to the theme 'Swabhav, Sanskar, Zimmedari & Bhaagidari'.
On 17.09.2024, an online pledge was taken in an ICAR online meeting. A plantation drive was conducted, and 12 saplings were planted in the orchard of ICAR-DOGR. The same day, the pledge was renewed.
To engage younger audiences, a program was conducted with students at ICAR-DOGR on 18.09.2024, where students suggested ways to improve cleanliness and shared their ideas with scientists.
Swachchhata Pledge was taken involving the officials of state agriculture department and RAMETI, Alandi, Pune at ICAR-DOGR, Pune on 19.09.2024. .
‘Swachchhat Dialogue was organized at ICAR-DOGR, Pune on 20.09.2024. The office staff, YPs and research scholars participated actively in discussion highlighting the role of sanitation in daily life as well as in agricultural activities.
A human chain consisting of office with participation of office staff, YPs, Research scholars and skilled persons working at ICAR-DOGR, Pune, was made on 21.09.2024 to create awareness and demonstrated commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
A mega cleanliness drive with participation of office staff, YPs, Research scholars and skilled persons working at ICAR-DOGR, Pune, was made on 22.09.2024 to create awareness towards cleanliness and sanitation.
Under the theme ‘Shramdan at religious places’ a cleanliness drive was organized at Jakhmaata Temple at Shiroli, Rajgurunagar on 23/09/2024.
Under the theme ‘Waste to Art to make compost’ a cleanliness drive was organized at Tractor shed, ICAR-DOGR, Pune on 24/09/2024 and the litterwas collected and dumped in compost pit.
A cleanliness drive was conducted at administrative block of ICAR-DOGR with the participation of scientific, administrative, supportive and skilled staff of the office on 25/09/2024.
Under the theme ‘Best Innovation Under SBM Cultural Fests’ Rangoli competition was organized at ICAR-DOGR, Pune on 26/09/2024 highlighting the topic ‘Swachchha Bharat’. All the staff and research scholars participated in the competition, and expressed their thoughts on various aspects of cleanliness through rangoli.
Under the theme ‘Awareness regarding cleanliness for Staff’ an expert lecture was organized on 27.09.2024 at ICAR-DOGR, Pune. Ex- IFS Shri Parihar D.R. delivered lecture on cleanliness for healthy society. All the staff and research scholars and sanitation workers participated in the programme.
Under the theme ‘Time bound Transformation of Black Spots’ a cleanliness drive was organized at ICAR-DOGR, Pune on 28/09/2024. The unwanted shrubs on the boundary wall and adjacent areas of the office was cleaned.
A shramdaan activity involving office staff was arranged at ICAR-DOGR on 29/09/2024. The lawn of the office and adjacent road was cleaned as a part of the programme with the participation of office staff and research scholars.
Under the theme ‘Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivirs’ a welfare awareness programme for sanitation workers and all other staff including supporting staff was arranged at ICAR-DOGR on 30/09/2024. A talk by health expert on ‘Swachchhata in Dincharya evam Swasthya’ was arranged. A preventive health check-up was also organized for sanitation workers
